Damp Proofing

Our treatments are applied to a variety of homes and businesses in London and the South East, but we also work on many commercial sites, including stores, offices, contracts and schools.

You may rest assured that every property we handle will receive our knowledge, consideration, skill and guarantee.

Damp will begin to affect the structure of your house if it is not treated, resulting in substantial damage and a decrease in the value of your home.

Types of damp

Rising Damp
Rising damp, also known as capillary action, is the term used to describe the process by which groundwater enters a building by rising through the pores in brickwork.
Penetrating Damp
In order to prevent piercing damp, window frames and roofs must be inspected for deterioration, cracks, or damage. Infiltrating damp is defined as rain water penetrating a wall horizontally. This condition can be brought on by blocked gutters, downpipes, and blown renders.
Timber Treatments
the name "woodworm" refers to the larval stage of numerous kinds of wood-boring insects, which flourish and multiply in the wood.
On the surface of the wood, in the cracks and crevices, the adult beetle lays its eggs. The eggs develop into ravenous larvae that bore into the wood and fed on the cellulose of the material for several years in a row before moving to the wood's surface by making chambers, forming pupa, and eventually maturing into adult beetles and wood-boring insects that tunnel out of the wood.
Black Mould Treatment
There are numerous causes for the mould to develop and spread. For instance, in the winter, heated indoor air is forced to cool below the dew point when it comes into touch with cold surfaces like walls and windows, leading to condensation and the growth of mould.
